Calene Lucero, who founded an organization that helps orphans in Ghana, will speak at the Congregational United Church of Christ’s Women’s Spirituality Group on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. Lucero started H.O.P.E. seven years ago. She will describe how the organization has provided schooling, a library, and a swingset that provides electricity for the orphans. She will also have bracelets made by the children that can be purchased to help with H.O.P.E. This event is free and open to the public.

The New Jerusalem United Church of Christ, which had been meeting at the Bountiful UCC, has moved to its own building in Midvale! A dedication service will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. The address is 667 W. Center St.
