The Board of Directors met on May 14. The directors:
- Voted to hire a professional cleaner for the church.
- Voted to stop advertising in the local newspaper on a weekly basis. The savings will go toward paying the professional cleaner.
The Board of Directors is responsible for the general budget and church property. The directors create the annual budget, monitor income and spending throughout the year, consider additional spending not in the budget, and arrange for repair and maintenance needs on church property.
Please thank your directors! They are Gary Smith (chair), Ben Cornwell, Madelon Damon, Steve Damon, Wendell Frazier and Jeannine Heppler. Carolyn Somer (treasurer) is an ex officio member. Anyone interested in being a director can talk with one of the current board members.
