Bullying is a scourge on our schools and our society. Our church will take a closer look at this problem in four weekly sessions on Sundays in February.
Bullying causes disruption in our schools, stress and health problems in the victims, high dropout rates and, worst of all, suicide and suicide attempts.
The series begins Feb. 2. Each session will be held at 12:30 p.m. in the Cottage, after worship. The topics are:
- What Is Bullying? Feb. 2, led by Tim Sharp.
- What Is Cyberbullying? Feb. 9, led by Pastor Gage.
- What Is Being Done to Combat Bullying? Feb. 16, led by Marion Horna and Carolyn Somer.
- What Can We Do About Bullying? Feb. 23, led by Linda Smith.
Everyone of any age is encouraged to attend.
