Fair Trade Sale

This year’s Fair Trade Sale was another success. By the end of the weekend, we sold just over $5,000 in Fair Trade items on behalf of artisans and farmers in many different areas of the world.

This money will go a long way toward helping these people improve the lives of their families and communities.

If you were on hand Friday evening, you surely caught the excitement and energy of customers from our community who look forward to our annual sale and the chance to buy goods that make a difference for the producers. And on Saturday you would have met Jenna and her fellow volunteers from the Logan Fair Trade shop – Global Village Gifts. They were delighted to be here with us.

Thank you to all who helped make this possible. Thanks to those who turned out Wednesday night to move tables and pews; to those who turned out to help unpack, inventory and display goods; to those who helped cashier; to those who baked goodies and cooked soups and hosted our guests from the kitchen; to those who helped clean up and move pews and tables back in place; and to all who supported this mission project by shopping and inviting friends to our Sale.

We did good. Thank you.
