The Coalition of Religious Communities’ Faith Days at the Utah Capitol kicks off on Feb. 2 with United Church of Christ Day!
CORC will be hosting Faith Days at the Capitol every Tuesday and Thursday during February. Come learn how Utah’s legislative process works and help educate lawmakers about what our faith tradition has to say about helping people who cannot afford shelter. Be part of a multi-faith effort to get legislators to pay attention to issues of housing and homelessness. Together, we can have a cumulative impact that none of us could have acting on our own.
Those who would like to carpool to Salt Lake City can meet in the church parking lot at 8 a.m. Everyone will meet in the Aspen Room of the Senate Building at 9 a.m. We will be finished by 11 a.m. See Pastor Gage if you would like to attend.
The Coalition of Religious Communities (CORC) is a way for members of religious communities to unite in economic justice advocacy. There are CORC members from all over Utah, representing 16 faith traditions, who join efforts in eliminating poverty.
