Worship:

Our Worship Services are held each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and are followed by Fellowship.  Communion is usually celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.  Communion Sunday is also an Intergenerational Worship Service when our young people stay in worship for the entire service. 

Christian Education:

Sunday School classes for children during worship will begin Sunday, September 14.  Our teachers will be using the Season's of the Spirit curriculum which follows the Common Lectionary and compliments the worship materials used by Pastor Bob Nuhn.  Communion Sunday, often the first Sunday of the month, is also Intergenerational Sunday, when all children remain in worship for the entire worship service. 

Adult Bible Study:

Adult Bible Study will resume on Sunday, September 14.  This spirited adult group meets at 9:00 am in the church cottage for a class led by Arlene Szalay.  This class also uses the Season's of the Spirit adult material, but the spirit has been known to lead us astray for some valuable times of shared ideas and experiences.

2nd Tuesday Book Discussion:

The first meeting of this group will be on Tuesday, September 9, at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall.  We will gather for a potluck supper and share ideas about how this group will continue.  For more about this group...

3rd Thursday Coffee and Conversation:

The first Coffee and Conversation with Pastor Bob will take place on Thursday morning, September 18, beginning at 9:30 am at Dylan's at the corner of 12th Street and Monroe in Ogden.  This is for the benefit of Bob and anyone else who shows up.  Come share whatever is on your mind.  For more about this...

3rd Thursday Prayer Shawl Ministry:

Our Prayer Shawl ministry will resume on Thursday, October 16, at 7 pm in the church cottage.  Those who are interested in knitting, crocheting, sewing, praying and otherwise contributing to this ministry are invited to join us for this special ministry.  All are welcome.  For more information...

3rd Saturday Art as Meditation:

Sue Nuhn will continue to lead watercolor workshops for new artists, as well as those who would like to loosen up and let the paint flow.  The workshops will be on the third Saturday of the month from 9am to 4pm in the fellowship hall.  The emphasis for the workshop will be getting in touch with your muse and learning to paint more intuitively. Elements of design, the importance of contrast and creative watercolor techniques will continue to be covered. Advance registration is necessary. 4th Tuesday Women's Spirituality:

Our Women's Spirituality gathering will resume on Tuesday, September 23rd.  This has been a diverse and vibrant group since Sue Nuhn got us started two years ago. It has drawn new faces to our church community and touched a cord with many. And with a new year beginning it’s appropriate to gather to see where the spirit will lead us now. If you’ve been part of this group in the past or are interested in finding out more, please join us Tuesday evening, September 23, at 7:00 pm in the church cottage.

We’ll "gather around the hearth" and renew our connections. What is calling us? What do we seek? What do we bring to share? What have we experienced this summer that surprised us?

This is a gathering of women from many different faiths and backgrounds that come together to discover what we share in common.  We will explore different ways that we each get in touch with and honor what is sacred in our lives.  All women are welcome.  

4th Saturday Spirituality Breakfast and Works:

The first meeting of this group will be on Saturday, September 27, in the fellowship hall beginning at 9:00 am.  We'll share a simple continental breakfast and discussion of a spiritual nature.  Those who can stay will be invited to help with a project from the Director's "to do" list.  For more about this...

Joyful Gardeners:

All are welcome to join Felicia Cornwell on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. for gardening at the church.  We have found there's plenty that can be done year round to help make our church an inviting place.

Alcoholics Anonymous:

AA meetings are held every Wednesday at 8 p.m. and Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  For further information about this organization in the Ogden area, call 393-4728.
