Turkey and Ham Drive
Drop off a turkey or ham at the United Way on any day from Nov. 12 to 19, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The meat will be distributed during the holidays.
Cannery
Anyone can volunteer for a shift at the LDS Cannery, 1531 Lincoln Ave. Volunteers work for a shift on the assembly line at the cannery, where food is packaged and stored for those needing basic commodities. Call 801-399-3723 if you are interested.

The Hunger Site
Go here and click on the button shown to donate 1.1 cups of food to hungry people. It’s free, and paid for through the advertising on the site. Make it a bookmark and visit every day (you can click up to one time a day). At this site you can also click to donate (for free!) for other causes: breast cancer, animal welfare, veterans, autism, children’s health, literacy and rainforest protection.
CUCC’s ongoing food drive
You can always bring canned or other nonperishable packaged food to the church. We make a trip once a week to deliver to local food pantries.
