Shabbat for Everyone
Pleasant Valley Branch, Black Box Theater

A reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. and the Shabbat will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Virtually every faith has traditional ways of recognizing the need for rest, reflection, and revitalization as part of the cycle of days. Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, for example, observe a Sabbath day each week (although not all on the same day!). This celebration of the Jewish Sabbath (Shabbat in Hebrew) will include readings, blessings, and songs in which all can participate, as well as the sights, smells, and tastes of a typical Shabbat. Although not technically a worship service, we will seek to replicate the atmosphere of Shabbat as it is celebrated in Jewish homes and synagogues around the world every Friday evening.

SUNDAY. FEBRUARY 14, 5:00 P.M.
Closing Event
"Interfaith Musical Tribute"

Weber State University Shepherd Union Ballroom

Listen to selections from many local choirs and other local talent, highlighting the diversity in the Ogden area. Please plan to attend this evening of song and celebration!
